she borrows more to pay her bills and and does not tell him until he asks... he must ask repeatedly and it is painful as she defends her secret... they talk when he can't stand the silence anymore and he forces his way through her illusion that sustains her debt building habits and after a panic attack, she comes a little closer to reality where she verbally acknowledges that she cannot continue the pattern of borrowing and she agrees to change and share more with him to keep herself honest... and then a day passes and she stops sharing again... and then a week or two passes and she is borrowing again... and the cycle repeats... he wonders, silently, if they are making progress... she wonders, silently, why there is tension... they wonder in silence...
