everybody dies

at least as far as common knowledge knows, so why fight it... why not push the body to it's last bit of energy every moment... that seems to be his way of life and he's made it past 20,000 days... most people who burn the candle at both ends burn out long before they make it that far and even though he knows he might go at any moment, he continues his sleepless nights in spite of ever busier days... he doesn't want to miss a thing... and he wants to share so much the loneliness keeps him awake... and the stress of the giving, always giving, waiting for the one who gives back... she gives what she can and it is a blessing he wants to receive, which is why she remains in his space and in his life... but she sleeps and seeks a different partner in her life... and so does he, when he remembers anything is possible and in spite of the many years of not finding the right one, he still wants to believe the right one will come along... until then, the giving makes the living worthwhile...
