no choice

the emotional tension is sad... she is getting more deeply depressed and he sees that as giving into depression because he knows he has choices no matter how he feels... he has never understood people who claim they have no choice... he has lived on the street... he has been betrayed and left for dead... he has been used and abused from his early years in this life... and he always had an awareness of choice... she takes medications, but not as prescribed... she spends money on things she doesn't need and does not pay her bills... she sleeps instead of getting her work done and her paycheck is dependent on her productivity... every week she sees her psychologist, he psychiatrist, her money mentor from debtor's anonymous... every week she repeats the same pattern, spending too much, not getting her work done, changing her medications, not taking care of herself or her responsibilities... even her dog doesn't go out as he needs to unless he does it... and she won't talk about it... she snaps at him when he asks... he does not know how to help her find some self-discipline... self-responsibility... so he continues taking money from his savings to pay the monthly bills... he feels he has no other choice...
